On February 20-22, the International gathering of volunteers dedicated to sharing experiences and planning an international charity project "Street Theatres Festival" took place in Tula (Russia).

Volunteers of student socio-psychological service of Pavlo Tyhyna Uman State Pedagogical University Olga Pidgorna (service coordinator), Sergiy Voytenko, Olena Kivachuk, Lesya Sokalska, Yuliya Velizhynska were the participants of Ukrainian delegation. They made public presentation for representatives of social services and students of Russian educational establishments.



Interest and hard work lasted three days. On February 20, Uman volunteers met the representatives of the Municipal Tula Russian Drama Theater "Ermitazh", who were actively involved in theater and volunteer activities. Theater director Maryna Mazanova shared the experience and gave valuable advice on the organization of charity street actions and festivals. Questions on street festival of theater organization in Uman in the International Caravan frameworks were also discussed.



On February 21, a conference with media representatives and Tula students was held. Uman volunteers made a presentation of the service’s work, answered the students’ and journalists’ questions, talked with volunteers from Yaroslavl and Moscow.

The "round table" with representatives of youth centers and youth movements, socio-psychological assistance centers, youth and patriotic centers was organized. Issues of volunteer activity and participation in international projects like the International Caravan of street theaters were discussed.



In addition, volunteers visited the local museums: Biloborodova (Museum of Russian accordion), Tula Necropolis (with exposure Hugo Nespolo "Golden Number"), Yasna Polyana (Lev Tolstoy place of life and work).

At the end of the International gathering the delegation of the University socio-psychological service and Tula Municipal Theatre "Ermitazh" signed an agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance.
