The affiliate educational establishment of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University - University of Porto (Portugal) organized a system of trainings for international representatives. Such issues as international cooperation, modern challenges in mobility management, internationalization of education and project research activities joined the heads of International Cooperation Departments all around the world.

During the training sessions the attention was focused on the best practices and approaches to such issues development as: the organization of International Cooperation Office, training students, researchers and educators to participation in mobility projects, project activity implementation by Erasmus + program, innovation and organization in a competitive specialist training program.

The Coordinator of International Cooperation, assistant professor of English Language and Methods of Its Teaching Chair Olga Sushkevych, assistant professors of the same chair Alla Hembaruk and Tetiana Kapeliushna were the representatives of our university. The representatives of universities from India, Portugal, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Thailand, Egypt, Ethiopia, Algeria, Montenegro and Georgia, developing new ways and strategies of the educational process and science development, focused on topical issues of modern society development and globalization of education.

Such level activities open new opportunities for further cooperation of USPU on the field of international cooperation with the establishment of new contacts, joint project activities, possibilities to participate in new programs of academic mobility. In particular, a new stage of cooperation with the University of Porto (Portugal) will be the project Mobile + 2. As a result of the project selection, USPU took the 5th place among 44 applicants.

So, our university has good potential and is on the right track.
