As part of the cooperation agreement between Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University and Jan Amos Comenius State Higher Vocational School (Poland) every year there is the student exchange program. Polish Cultural Centre maintains its progress at all stages. This year, Tetiana Matola and Yulia Karpyk, the students of Ukrainian Philology Department and Tetiana Shulga, the student of Economics Department and the College of Humanities of Individual Interdisciplinary Studies participated in the program. It was their first time in such a program and they shared their impressions of their stay in Poland.

Tetiana Shulga said that participation in this project is a great opportunity to see the world, learn the language and discover something new. She did not even hope to study in Poland because there were many applicants except her. She was overwhelmed with joy and pride in herself when she learned that she obtained the right to participate in the exchange. Getting ready for the trip, Tetiana began an intensive study of the Polish language.

On arrival to the city of Leszno, the student wrote: "I have had great hopes and dreams and they have come true". She likes to study at the Jan Amos Comenius State Higher Vocational School. As our university student Tetiana Shulga studies tourism in Poland she continues to explore the relevant subjects, including: organization of tourism and recreational activities, basic tourism and recreation and more. The girl likes the attitude of teachers to students and vice versa. Tetiana has found new friends and she says that being abroad the time passes much more quickly than at home. And the student said that being in Leszno she has become more independent and confident.

In our turn, we wish our students to successfully complete their studies in Poland and bring the new knowledge back to their motherland.
