Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University team participated in track and field athletics competitions of I Cherkasy region Sports and Games between HEI, which were held in track-and-field sports hall of Cherkasy. In the competitions took part representatives of Cherkasy, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Chernigiv and Kirovograd region.

Our team consisted of the best university track and field athletes from Physical Training Department, among them were: Oleksandr Litvin (group 33), Oleksandr Voiku, Ilona Zaika, Dmytro Tarasenkov (group 14), Yevgen Bilei, Viktoria Taran (group 31), Andriy Storozhenko (group 21), Vitalina Skala (group 11), Kateryna Bogush (group 24), Vladyslav Trastsnkulov (group 15), Vladyslav Prystinskyi (group 22), Anastasia Skorynina (group 51), Tetyana Chornokozynska (group 41), Alina Marunkevych (group 12). It is worth mentioning here that the university team comprises half of first year students.

The competition programme included the following: race at distance 55m, 3000 m, 400 m; relay race 4x1; long jump, triple jump, high jump; race at distance 200 m, 1000 m.

As the result of the competitions our team took the III place among HEI of Cherkasy region.
