The XXIV "Education and Career - the Student Day of 2013" International Exhibition and "Education abroad" international exhibition of educational establishments took place on the 14-16th of November, 2013 at the "Ukrainian House" National Center for business and cultural cooperation. It was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, "Knowledge" Association of Ukraine.

The purpose of the exhibition is to inform the young people about the opportunities of professional education in Ukraine and abroad, about the scholarships and educational grants, formation of a single educational space, advocacy of achievements of Ukraine in the field of higher education.


The exhibition lasting for three days was attended by over 70 Ukrainian universities. The schools of France (11 universities), Lithuania (23 universities), Czech Republic (10 universities) and Poland (16 universities) were represented by large pavilions, educational institutions and organizations of the United Kingdom, Russia, Cyprus, Israel, Holland, Germany, etc.

The solemn opening ceremony was attended by Oleksiy Dniprovsky, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Vasyl Kremen, President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, foreign guests, heads of universities, as well as educators, students, and media representatives.


The winners of the "Education and Career - the Student Day of 2013" competition were congratulated. Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was awarded the Grand Prix in the category "Competent approach in the educational activities of the higher educational establishments." This truly earned award is the result of hard work of the university researchers, the staff of the laboratory of educational competence (Olena Yaroshinska, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Associate Professor) in the first place.
