The third-year student Oleksandra Denysiuk participated in the final stage of the All-Ukrainian Contest of Student Research Works in specialty "Ukrainian Language and Literature (including their teaching methods)". Ph.D. in Philology, associate professor Vasyl' Denysiuk was a scientific supervisor of the research "Phraseology of Biblical and Ancient Origin in the Ukrainianin Poetic Discourse of the XVII century".

In early March, the jury selected 41 students' research works to participate in this stage. Their authors were invited to Ivan Franko Zhytomyr State University to compete in the final stage of the contest. Applicants of winning represented 28 universities from Berdiyansk,Vinnytsia, Glukhiv, Dnipro, Donetsk, Drohobych, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Kryvyi Rig, Melitopol, Mykolayev, Odesa, Pereyaslav-Khmelnytskyi, Poltava, Sumy, Uman, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy and Chernihiv.

As a result of open discussion of the papers and reports, the contest's committee chose 23 contestants as the winners. Head of the Chair of Ukrainian Philology of the Philology Institute of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University Professor Stanislav Karaman invited the winners to publish in the journal "Ukrainian Language and Literature in Secondary Schools, High Schools, and Colleges".
