On the 26th of May at the university was held a conference of collective, which was held on new normative basis, in particular, in accordance with new redaction of the university Statute and new Regulations on collective’s conference.

The conference delegates had chosen presidium, which included:

head of collective conference – candidate of pedagogical sciences, assistant professor, Honorary Education Worker of Ukraine, veteran of the university Dmytro Baldynyuk;

deputy head of collective conference – candidate of philological sciences, assistant professor, director of scientific library Tetyana Grygorenko;

secretary – leading specialist in bookkeeping Larysa Dereschuck.

On the agenda was a problem “On election to academic council of the university among scientific and pedagogical workers of the educational establishment”.

Head of the conference Dmytro Baldynyuk remembered the delegates about necessity to form a new contingent of the academic council, as the previous academic council concludes its term, as far as it was formed in September 2010. According to the Statute the term of academic council authority lasts 5 years. According to the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” and new Statute of the university the academic council of the university comprise representatives according to their position (rector, pro-rector, heads of chairs, directors of institutes and separate subdivisions, scientific secretary, director of library, main bookkeeper, heads of self-government bodies, elective bodies of trade union committee and university students) and by voting (elective members, who represent scientific and pedagogical workers and elective representatives from students).

The first pro-rector, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Andriy Gedsyck read a list of elective candidates to Academic Council of the university who represent scientific and pedagogical workers and are heads of the university chairs, professors, assistant professors, candidates of sciences, doctors of sciences, working at the university.

By open voting delegates of the conference defined the following members of the university Academic Council:

1. Taliat Nuredinovich Azizov – head of Technical and Technological Disciplines Chair, doctor of technical sciences, professor;

2. Oksana Volodymyrivna Braslavska – head of Geography and its Teaching Methods Chair, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor;

3. Oksana Adolfivna Zabolotna – head of Foreign Languages Chair, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor;

4. Anatoliy Oleksandrvych Karasevych – head of Social Disciplines Char, candidate of philosophy sciences, professor;

5. Oleksandr Mykolayovych Kobernyk – professor at General Pedagogy, High School Pedagogy and Management, doctor of pedagogical sciences;

6. Olga Anatoliivna Komar – head of professional Methods and Innovation Technologies at Primary School Chair, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor;

7. Volodymyr Hryhorovych Kuz – head of Pre-school Pedagogy and Psychology Chair, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, member of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

8. Mykhailo Tadeyovych Martyniuk - head of Physics and Astronomy Chair and its Teaching Methods, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

9. Kateryna Andriivna Oliynyck – assistant professor at Marketing and Business Management Chair, candidate of economic sciences;

10. Valentyna Volodymyrivna Rozgon – assistant professor at Ukrainian Language and its Teaching Methods Chair, candidate of philology sciences;

11. Andriy Anatoliyovych Semenov – assistant professor at Physical Education Theory and Methodology Chair, candidate of pedagogical sciences;

12. Leonid Petrovych Yatlo – assistant professor at Musicology, Vocal and Chorus Disciplines Chair.
