Technology and Pedagogics Department has contributed into cleaning the area and the park named after G. Kotovskiy, adjacent to the University. Since the beginning of the new academic year the student government developed an appropriate cleaning schedule approved at the joint meeting of the Student Council and the Department Dean.

At this meeting, Stanislav Tkachuk, the Dean of Technology and Pedagogics Department, Teacher, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of Professional Education and Technology, said that they should always be careful, neat and clean in the first place in their home. "At the beginning of autumn people always take care of their homes, tidy up”, he said “We are all the residents of this city, and so we should keep everything in order in our home. We initiate a regular cleaning and tidying up in our native city of Uman."

Both students as well as University teachers take part in those activities. They believe that the person who keeps his or her home clean will appreciate the efforts of others who take care of the environment. If a person tidies the area he or she will never mess it up. Remember the rule: "Cleanliness is not all about cleaning, it is rather avoiding to mess up things". And the young people understand this.
