Dean of Foreign Languages Department, associate professor Nadiya Brit and 6 students participated in S.A.M.E.D.I. program from 26.10.2012 till 07.11.2012. The program included language training in Paris; students visited various government agencies, such as scientific and industrial town, where large Science and Technology Museum is situated, the Museum of Arts and Crafts, the Museum of Space and Aviation. Besides students got to know about the functioning of the French authorities, including the presentation of Paris city council, the National Assembly and the international organization UNESCO.

The program was fully implemented; the participants received certificates and letters of appreciation for active cooperation with France were sent to the university. The result of the visit was to outline new prospects of cooperation. In particular, the final stage is characterized by the signing of a cooperation agreement with the University of Limoges, which would implement academic and scientific exchanges and internships. Book fund of the University was enriched by large number of francophone issues passed by the National Assembly with the assistance of official of Information Relations and Communications of the National Assembly Monsieur Christian Cordeiro.

Implementation of such programs enhances professional skills and language competence of students, creates conditions for the teaching of French at the University using modern methods, and is very important as for familiarizing students with France, its history, culture, traditions, and modern political and social life.
