A word is a weapon and music is a charge – you should shoot accurately! In difficult for Ukraine period “Art Front” is a reliable rear.

Recently, on the initiative of Literary Studio at History Department of USPU “Poetic Clio” was held a music and literary event “Art Front” (a course for Ukrainian).

At the event their works presented writers Dmytro Lazutkin and Dmytro Belov, the competition “Red Rue -2015” finalist Artur Korniyuk and our university students Yulia Pokholiuk and Yuriy Chornyi, the latter organized the event. In the beginning of the event, Yuriy Chonyi declared touching satirical prose.

The literary and artistic event was prolonged by a lyrical poetry by Yulia Pokholiuk.

“Art front” was aimed at contemporary Ukrainian literature popularization. It was not difficult to realize for the guestfrom Kyiv Dmytriy Belov, who presented his first book “Debosh at Stadium”. A football’s fan life he depicts from different foreshortening. “Debosh at Stadium” – is a true story about unrealized wishes and desires in the beginning of adult life.

At the event the most expected part was a portion of true male poetry from Dmytro Lazutkin. Dmytro is both a famous poet and a journalist, commentator of boxing at TV channel “Inter” and Olympic games in Peking, Vancouver, London, presenter of the TV program “Men’s Club”, Master of Sports. He has been to ATO zone several times. His poetry is set to music. One of the famous poems set to music is “Your honesty is so tempting”, performed by band “Kozak System”.

At the artistic festival Dmytro Lazutkin presented his new books “Christmas carols and waltzes” and “A red book”. The first was published in 2014; it includes poems written at different times, translations and texts of songs. This is an incredible combination of sacral and everyday transformation of words into poetry.

“A red book” has been published recently. It includes texts, written by author during the last year, poems of previous periods, which are especially urgent now.

As Dmytro said, “These two books are characterized by lyric hand, peculiar to me, but lyrics in “A red book” touches upon the last events in Ukraine”.

Dmytro Lazutkin led pleasant conversations and recited poetry from presented books.

As a dessert, “Red Rue -2015” finalist Artur Korniyuk, a participator in different All-Ukrainian and International festivals presented pleasant music relax.
