On May 13-14, VII All-Ukrainian festival-contest of instrumental, vocal, choreography, and theater arts "Kvitucha Krayina" was held in Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.the organizers are the following: USPU, creative project "Triumph-Fest", Department of Culture of Uman city council, the National Ukrainian Music Union, Ukrainian Union of contemporary and pop choreography, dendrological park "Sofiyivka" and dances school "Experience" from Dnipro.

The two-day festival program was very intensive. More than a thousand participants from small towns and cities showed their talents on USPU stage. Geography of VII All-Ukrainian Festival covered Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Mykolayiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhya regions.

The USPU teaching staff perpesentatives were the jury members in choreography: lecturer of Choreography and Artistic Culture Chair Olga Bykova (jury chairman) and lecturer of the same chair Sergiy Kutsenko (jury member).

USPU students also tried to win in the VII All-Ukrainian festival-contest of instrumental, vocal, choreography, theater arts and theater events "Kvitucha Krayina".

In the fierce competitive struggle the students of Arts Department won in "Variety Singing" nomination: Anna Polishchuk - the third degree diploma, Mariya Pavlyshyna and Olena Svynar - the second degree diploma. Student of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Sciences Department Ihor Zelinskyi took the second place, and in a duet with Mariya Pavlyshyn won the third place.
