On the 24th of February took place a rewarding with diplomas of participators in the English Language contest “Uman-Gniezno”.

In the international contest took part 32 pupils of 6th forms from Uman schools №14 and №7 and Gniezno (Poland) primary school №3.

The participators of both rounds gathered at Uman general educational school №14 adorned front room. Representatives of education department, school directors and teachers welcomed and congratulated the pupils. They were talking about English as means of partnership and mutual understanding in the globalized world.

Diplomas were handed in by project coordinators – Gniezno primary school №3 director Radoslav Sobkoviak and Institute of International Collaboration director, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor of Foreign Languages Chair Oksana Zabolotna. Language school “Empic” and publishing house McMillani offered presents to the English Language learners.

In the end of the meeting children shared their thought and opinion on such international actions, which might be helpful for success in future.

In conclusion they thanked school teachers (Victoria Bezchasna and Iryna Panchenko) and USPU lecturers (Lyudmyla Zagoruiko, Oleksandr Kovalenko and Iryna Kholod) for organization of the contest.
