On the basis of our university workers of Ukrainian Child Centre “Young Guards” organized and conducted theoretical and practical seminar for students.

On the first day of the work the students admitted a general director Vasyl Bezden and methodologist Halyna Volcheva, who acquainted students with the concept of activity of Ukrainian Child Centre, peculiarities of preparation pedagogues and his specific character of work. They made a video excursion around “Young Guards”. Methodologists and pedagogues Olha Davydova, Kateryna Khomenko and Viktoria Orlenko showed how to organize master classes with students. Students from Social and Psychology Education Alina Borodaychuk, Mykhailo Khomia, Illia Bondarenko and from Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Department Anastasia Kurich helped them, as the last year during summer holidays they worked at camps.

Master classes were conducted in the following directions: positions based on principles as for acquaintance in detachments (collective activity as a fundamental stage in formation of contemporary child collective); principles of self-government model formation in contemporary child collective; introduction of detachment’s corner into the process of modeling; scheme of conducting thematic evenings in detachments.

On the second day, the seminar continued its work. Students were mastering rules of self-government body’s elections, peculiarities of modeling schedules and leader’s elections, game activities in contemporary child collective, and in the end they presented results of educational and practical master-classes (visit cards of detachments).
