Art is what touches our souls deeply. With the help of arts we are fighting against social problems, and its value grows.

Uman State Pedagogical University attracts community to urgent social problems by means of arts. One of the important events was participation in All-Ukrainian competition “Best social projects in 2015”, initiated by community organization “Social leadership centre”.

The 5th year students of Arts and Pedagogics Department prepared a unique dance project “Right for Life” (head and stage diretor – Lyudmyla Androshchuk). In the sujet’s basis were five stories which couldn’t leave anybody indifferent. These five stories are the stories of crash and fighting, embodied in the dance. Each of them tells about life difficulties, dependence, from which it’s not so difficult, but possible to escape.

One of the heroes who was a prototype of the setting said: “If your performance will watch a person and after decides not to be drug addicted – it is important, if 5 people – it is already a victory!”
