Recently, the exhibition center of "Stara Uman" State Historical-Architectural Reserve has offered an exhibition of creative works of the students and the teachers of the Fine Arts Department of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. It has become a good tradition.

The following distinguished guests visited the exhibition: Dmytro Baldynyuk, the Vice-Rector of Humanitarian Affairs of USPU, PhD., Associate Professor, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Olena Dudnyk, the Dean of Arts and Pedagogics Department, PhD. in History, Associate Professor, Olena Polishchuk, the Honored Master of Folk Arts of Ukraine, PhD., Associate Professor of Department of Theory and Methods of Preschool Education, Dmytro Pashchenko, the Dr. of Education, Professor, Head of Department of General Pedagogics, Pedagogics of higher education and management, Sergey Shandra, the Head of Association of Intellectuals of Uman, the teachers, university students and others.

Dmytro Baldynyuk, the Vice-Rector of Humanitarian Affairs opened the exhibition noting the skills and creativity of the young artists and their mentors exhibiting their work to the audience.

The exhibition includes about a hundred of works of fine and decorative arts made in different art techniques: painting (oil, gouache, pastel, watercolor), drawing (pencil, ink, sanguine, linocut, aquatint), decorative painting, malyovankas, dolls, embroidery, beading, flowers, items made of straw, batik, ceramics, and artistic and applied graphics (posters) and art design (transformation of the surface).

The exhibition displays the works by the graduates and current teachers of our Department of Fine Arts Victor Lysynyuk and Olena Odnovolova. Interesting decorative painting technique on glass was presented by Yaroslava Serduk, the 4th year student.

There are also the paintings of Oksana Lavrychenko, the 3rd year student, participant of the second round of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in art held in Uzhgorod on April 10-13. Besides, the exhibition showed many interesting, unique works of our talented students who had been looking forward to the exhibition because for many of them it was the first notable creative debut. We wish all the exhibitors inspiration and new ideas!
