Volunteers of Student Social and Psychological Service (SSPS) organized a small quest “Old Flint’s Treasures” for children from social and pedagogical rehabilitation centre in Uman.

Students reproduced for kids adventurous world. An old Flint and his pirate team meat them. Children were conferred pirates and divided into two teams, after they followed on their ships – “A Black Pearl” and “Flying Hollander”. The two teams had a lot of mysterious adventures.

The children should have put together pieces of map on which the location of true treasures was indicated. The kids should use their ships to get to the right place. Navigators helped striplings to find a good way. The participants visited priestess of fire, which gave them a hint with the help of her magic; they were on the island of wild animals, solved puzzles; they visited a mountain Sidunakha with wise Monk. Small pupils were quick-witted, smart, tried to use logical thinking. There was a lot of laughter, bright emotions.

The most impressions were caused by a game “Sea battle” after which children and volunteers played football. As a result – tiresome, but a lot of good emotions!

Such interaction with children is the best practice for our students. It is a possibility to show their skills, bring up the main human values, pedagogical skills and abilities. The most important is that students-volunteers gave a feeling to children that they are not alone in this world, and somebody loves them!
