According to the results of the final stage of the nationwide competition of conditions and occupational safety in educational institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was awarded the 1st Degree Diploma in the category "Universities of the III and IV levels of accreditation" and received a cash prize of UAH 10 000.

The competition was held in 2012, it was aimed at improving the working conditions, meeting the safety regulations stipulated by the Law of Ukraine "On Labor Protection", increasing the responsibility for observing the safe work and learning regulations.

The nationwide competition helped to attract the attention of managers and trade union organizations, educational institutions to implementing the safety measures stipulated by collective agreement on the prevention of accidents among the participants of the educational process.
