Traditionally, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University involves into the educational process the leading scientists of Ukraine and the world. Recently, to give lectures to the students of Natural Sciences and Geography Department Brian and Margaret Kallinheim, Professors at the Cambridge University were invited. Besides, we also invited Tetiana Beregova, Sc.D., Professor of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Olexandr Kobernyk, Professor, Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Technology and Department deans greeted the guests.

During the meeting with the staff of the Natural Sciences and Geography Department the prominent scholars gave lectures on "The System of Natural Sciences education at the Cambridge University." The audience included not only the II-V year students, but also the teachers, the graduates and the Doctoral Degree students. After the lecture the audience joined the lively discussion, the guests were asked a number of interesting questions.

Brian and Margaret Kallinheim were greatly impressed by the modernly equipped research laboratories, universities, including the "Environment and Education" laboratory of Natural and Geographic Department the scientific supervisor of which is Anna Goncharenko.

Olexandr Kobernyk, the University Director and Ruslan Yakymchuk, the Dean of Natural Sciences and Geography Department expressed their gratitude and hope for further cooperation. They also awarded the guests with memorable souvenirs.

Brian Kallinhem said he would be looking forward to further cooperation with our University.
