Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University ranked the second place among higher educational establishments such as universities, institutes in the Second Sport Games of Cherkasy region.

Competitions were held in the period from March to December 2016 by Cherkasy Regional Branch of the Committee for Physical Education and Sport of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

During the year, 3.5 thousand students competed for supremacy. The final competition, which was attended by 468 athletes from 48 teams, had been conducted in 11 types of programs and 8 kinds of sports.

Our university was awarded a diploma for taking the second place in the Second Sports Games in Cherkasy region.
