In the framework of Youth Sports Games in the city of Uman at the city stadium were held competitions in athletics among higher educational institutions.

Our alma mater was represented by students: Tetyana Chornokozynska, Serhiy Kovalenko, Maksym Bodniuk, Vladyslav Karnaukh, Lyudmyla Tkachenko, Andriy Storozhenko, Valentyn Dukhovniy, Viktoria Taran, Denis Lisetskiy, Ivanna Nenych (Physical Education Department), Ilana Zaika, Kateryna Burlaka (Department of Arts), Maryna Ignatenko (History Department), Valentyna Kharchenko, Vladyslav Tastankulov, Oleh Lenio (Nature and Geography Department).

As a result of competitions, “golden” awards received: Kateryna Burlaka on the distance of 100 and 200 meters, Ilona Zaika on the distance of 1500 metres, Denis Lisetskiy (shot-put), Maryna Ignatenko (hammer throw), and male team in the relay race 4x100 metres.

“Silver” prize-winners were as follows: Ilona Zaika (800 meters), Ivanna Nenych (shot-put and hammer throw), Andriy Storozhenko (800 and 1500 meters).

“Bronze” medals of the sports games got: Maksym Bodniuk (100 and 200 meters), Lyudmyla Tkachenko (100, 200 meters), Valentyna Kharchenko (shot-put).

Owing to the athletes’ persistence our mixed team took I place.
