In Kyiv was held World Championship of World Association GPF in power lifting, grasp, multiple grasp.

In the competition participated 150 sportsmen from Ukraine, Byelorussia, Iran, Moldova and Russia. Among them were sportsmen from Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, consisting of master of sports of international class, teacher Sergiy Ilchenko, candidate in Master of Sports, III year student Oleg Legin, I year student of Physical Training Department Kristina Malachevska.

As a result of the competitions, sportsmen of the university showed good results: Oleg Legin confirmed his rank “candidate in Master of Sports” and took I place in multiple grasp in nomination up to 55 kg (weight category up to 75 kg); Kristina Malachevska carried out a standard for “candidate in Master of Sports” in multiple grasp in nomination 35 kg and took II place; Sergiy Ilchenko took I place in nomination 55 kg in weight category up to 100 kg and became an absolute champion in grasps.
