The students and teachers of Ukrainian Philology Department at USPU are true patriots of their country. Supporting the unity of our country, peace and friendship in the world, they decided to organize the "Cuisine of the World" fair to reveal the diversity and beauty of Ukrainian and international culinary cultures.


The event was attended by the students of fifteen groups of the Department who showed a wide variety of ethnic dishes of the world. They presented French, Italian, Spanish, Polish, German, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Tatar, Armenian, Canadian, Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Each group was preparing at least two national dishes of the chosen country. The presentation of dishes, including the table setting, was also taken into consideration.




It should be noted that students did a great job, the competition was palpable but the friendly atmosphere prevailed. The event turned out to be massive, a lot of students as well as teachers and administration department came to see the dishes unusual for our country. It was important to note that Valentyna Koval, Doctor of Pedagogical sciences, Associate Professor of Ukrainian language and methods of teaching, Director of the Institute of Philology and Social Studies supported each group of the fair participants, cheered them up and praised them for their ingenuity and creativity.

All the funds raised at the fair will be donated to the orphanage children.
