Every year thanks to the support of the Polish Embassy in Kiev and the Polish Cultural and Educational Center the students and staff of the University have the unique opportunity to participate in the Summer School of the Polish Language and Culture. This year our University was represented by 13 students of Ukrainian Philology Department and Individual Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities in schools held in Warsaw, Torun, Lublin and Wroclaw.

During the summer classes the students had the opportunity to improve their knowledge of the Polish language, literature and history. The insight into the culture took place directly during the tours around the Polish cities and visiting various museums, exhibitions and theaters. In addition, the participants sang the Polish songs and watched the Polish films.

Along with the Polish the young people learned other cultures because the students of the summer schools were from different countries like Bulgaria, Serbia, Spain, UK, Ireland, USA, France and others. Our students represented Ukraine at the multicultural party and everything went great. On completion of the summer courses everyone received the Certificates of proficiency in the Polish language.
