USPU actively develops double degree programs implemented in cooperation with the Polish universities and coordinates the activities of the Polish Cultural Centre. Now Vladislav Mazur, Valentina Cherevchenko and Yuriy Hanushchak, the USPU students are obtaining Master’s degree in the Institute of European culture of Poznan University of Adam Mickiewicz in the specialty "European communication".

Recently, our students have visited the kindergarten № 8 in Gniezno. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize the Polish children with the Ukrainian symbols, culture, and traditions. Ukrainian youth was warmly greeted by the children aged 4-6. The little flags of Ukraine were prepared for this special occasion. The guests told the Polish children about Ukraine and Ukrainian symbolism and showed them several Ukrainian cartoons. Although the Polish kids did not quite understand the Ukrainian language they still received positive emotions. They even learned a few Ukrainian words like "thank you", "good afternoon", "goodbye", "delicious", "dumplings", "bread", "soup". To better memorize the words a quiz was organized and the children were awarded for every correct answer.

To reinforce the importance of relationship between Ukraine and Poland the children together with our students made ??flags of both countries but in an unusual way – leaving the color prints of their palms. Everyone was delighted with this lesson! On completion of the joyful meeting the participants tasted delicious Ukrainian borshch cooked specially for the good guests.

In memory of this beneficial and extremely interesting event the students received a written gratitude from the administration of the kindergarten.
