Polish Cultural Centre at USPU coordinates the participation of our youth in academic exchange programs in Poland thanks to which our students have a unique opportunity to feel like European university students. They opened up opportunities not only for studying and research but also for the language learning as they explore the Polish culture, get familiarized with the traditions and find new friends.

Yulia Karpyk, the fourth-year student of the Ukrainian Philology Department studying at State Higher School of Vocational Education in Leszno.

The girl willingly shared her impressions of her stay in Poland. "This is not my first time in Poland. Last year I was a member of the Summer School in Warsaw and I returned with lots of positive impressions. Therefore, every next project was interesting for me and, in my opinion, necessary for the expansion of my outlook and improving the communicative skills. An important feature of the current program of academic mobility in which I participate is the possibility to stay in the foreign language environment and keep in touch with the native speakers of this language", says Julia Karpyk, the future scholar.

While in Poland, she was enjoying the hospitality and the care of the responsible people who care for the students who undergo the academic mobility programs. In addition, she has a good support from the Polish students who studied in our University in the spring. As for the atmosphere in Polish universities, Yulia mentioned the simplicity and ease of communication in the classroom. She found in Leszno many friends and associates who make her happy in the foreign country.

We wish Yulia to gain the necessary experience and make her dreams come true.
