In current conditions, increasing the efficiency of interaction between education and business, adjusting the needs of universities with the economy are extremely important issues because the requirements of employers to graduates increase every year. To study the expectations of young employees and workers the Department of Enterprise Economics, Finance, Accounting and Auditing of the University initiated the cooperation program with the potential employers. The implementation of this program aims to give practical knowledge, skills and understanding of the world of their profession to the students studying the "Finance", "Business Economics", "Accounting and Auditing". It will give them an insight into the nature of their job; awaken an interest in their specialty and in becoming quality professionals.

As part of realization of the abovementioned program, the students of Economics Department met with Polina Kolisnichenko, a private entrepreneur who spoke about the professional qualifications of young employees required by employers today. She named the main requirements to the graduates: higher education, professional competence, goal-orientation, communicative abilities, responsibility, self-confidence, high performance, ability to quickly perceive information and work in a team. She believes that the graduates of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University meet those requirements. In addition, according to Polina Tymofiyivna, mastering foreign languages warrants the young professionals a successful career and personal development. Today there are many companies who hire the young employees without work experience, help them to build careers and provide them opportunities for self-realization.

According to the teachers and students of USPU, entrepreneur Polina Kolisnichenko is a professional and creative Director who always comes to help the young people. In support of this, Polina Tymofiyivna invited those interested to undergo a training as a Financial Director of “Kolisnichenko” Private Enterprise and Accountant of “Pan Kotsky” travel agency.

The suchlike meetings can develop new forms of social partnership between the Economics Department of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University and the employers, and create a strategy to support the competitiveness of young professionals in the job market.
