On October 18-19, 2014 was held II All-Ukrainian festival “Blossoming Country” of instrumental, vocal, choreography and theatrical arts and fashion theatre competition in Uman city palace of culture. Students and teachers of Arts and Pedagogics Department were not just participators, but winners of the competition. They showed high level of professionalism and performance skills.

All-Ukrainian competition laureates in nomination “Soloist-instrumentalist” have become third year students in speciality “Music arts” Katarina Bohichevich (I prize), Oleksandr Cherevchenko (I prize), Boyan Vasych (II prize), and second year student Darko Markovych (I prize) (under the guidance of Doctor in Pedagogical Sciences, professor Olena Ustymenko-Kosorich).

The jury marked the creative group performance of students and teachers of the university. Among them: National instrumental ensemble “Music patterns” (director – Candidate in Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor Vira Kolabska, soloist – Candidate in Agricultural Sciences, assistant professor Oleksandr Osadchiy), which demonstrated high level of performance skills, true professionalism and took the deserved first place.

The grand prize has won a guitar ensemble (director – Anatoliy Kovalenko) which amazed the jury and audience by virtuosity and excellent performance.

On this occasion we congratulate winners of the II All-Ukrainian festival competition and wish them inspiration, success and further achievements!

Arts admirers were onlookers of the grate competition transformation into festival, and this event is important both for Uman and the whole Ukrainian culture.
