USPU representatives took part in the contest for obtaining financial support of social and economic projects for students and young people of the city. It was held in Uman district employment center. It's nice that our boys and girls were awarded prizes.

Students of the Economics Department Bogdan Nikiforov and Bogdan Mazur won the first place in the category of "Manufacturing, services and trade" (supervisor - Inna Povorozniuk, a PhD, Associate Professor). This project was one of the ten best ones among the participants of "Tourist regions of the picturesque Ukraine" Ukrainian contest held in Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman. Bogdan Nasalskyy also from the Economics Department won the second place in the category of "Manufacturing, services and trade" (Supervisor - Tetiana Sakvenko, a senior teacher).

Also, the second place in "Manufacturing, services and trade" was awarded to the students of Economics Department Liubov Petrukhina and Oleksandr Dovbysh (supervisor - Tetyana Demchenko, a PhD, Associate Professor).

Oksana Tyrsa, a student of Sociology and Psychology Department presented the project of hospice with palliative care, and Olga Pidgorna introduced the idea of social and psychological festivals in the city, intended to be an effective way of informing the public about the relevant and important events.

Oksana received a certificate and Olga took the third place for the design of social and psychological festivals in Uman.
