In the middle of May in Izmail was held All-Ukrainian Student Action “Strategic Session of Student Anti-Corruption Agency”. Representatives of all regional departments of SACA participated in the event. Uman department of the Student Anti-Corruption Agency was represented by secretary of USPU Student Council, deputy head of the City Student Council, II year student of Department of Arts Nadiia Olenina.

In the course of the Strategic Session its members participated in trainings concerning team’s formation, preparation and working out grant projects and anti-corruption activity. Among the speakers of the trainings were representatives of British Council and the International Fund “Renaissance”.

Student activists from different regions discussed the prospects of fighting against corruption in the system of higher education and planed directions of their activities for the next year.

During 3 days students were working in several directions. Under the guidance of chairman of the NGO “Student Anti-Corruption Agency” Mykyta Andreev were defined objectives and tasks for this year; discussed juridical status, power and methods of work of regional subdivisions; solved a problem of interior record-keeping.

Experts, invited to the event, conducted trainings for students in formation a team, planning and organization of local centres, development of projects and writing grant applications.

Practical recommendations were elaborated in the course of Strategic Session and will be coordinated at our university by our student Nadiia Olenina.
