"Podillya dialect" research project initiated by Pavlo Grytsenko, the Director of the Institute of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Department of Dialects, Professor (Ukrainian dialectologist linguist, linguistic geographer, Doctor of Philology) brought together the students and researchers of higher education institutions located in Podillya – Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, Vinnytsya State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Kovel, Kamyanets-Podilsky Ivan Ohienko National University.

Working on the project the teachers and research-capable talented students represent their achievements at the annual scientific conferences and seminars. Recently, "Regional Podillya lexicology- the Status and Prospects" III Regional Student Conference with the participation of delegations of Pavlo Tychyna USPU was held at the Institute of Philology and Journalism of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Vinnytsya State Pedagogical University. Our delegation nicely presented our scientific achievements, including the study of dialects of Ukrainian language, the problem of interaction between dialects and language. Their speeches presented the vocabulary of East Podillya and modern linguistic interpretation of East Podillya dialects.

The conference participants unanimously supported the idea of dialects of Vinnytsya Oblast, the need to study the current state and prospects of the dialect beginning from the smallest parts. It is important to create a local phonetic formation chart of the dialect of Podillya, to track down the replenishments of systematic Dictionary of Podillya, design the Anthology of Podillya dialects. This complex task is the focus of today's researchers of the Podillya regional word stock.
