Scientific and methodical seminar "Problems and Prospects of Green Tourism Development in Uman District" was held on the basis of Educational and Research Institute of Economics and Business Education.

The aim of the seminar, held at the initiative of the head of the Technology and Organization of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business Inna Povorozniuk, was to implement the exchange of experience between representatives of science, education, business, and government in green tourism developemnt in Cherkasy region.

Coordinator of Regional Folk Center "Uman Artistic Arsenal", lecturer of Arts Department Volodymyr Lopushan stressed on the need to involve young people into the development and implementation of the "Green Tourism" project to establish a Regional Centre to promote green tourism development in Hromy village of Uman district.

Head of the Tourism Department of Uman city council Anna Kovaleva informed about the main problems and tasks cooperate with students and lecturers of Turism and Hotel and Restaurant Business Chair to develop "Uman Tourism" project.

Director of Uman Local History Museum Nataliya Bilous told about the role and the main directions of the establishment, focused on cooperation with the mentioned Chair in the framework of practical training of students and successful development of tourism in the region.

The scientific and methodological seminar was aimed at involving lecturers, students and experts in the field of tourism for the implementation of "Uman tourism" project, and green tourism is one of the areas of its development.
