University family was supplemented with 2 national creative groups (bands) – guitar duet “Mystery” of Department of Arts (art director – lecturer at Instrumental Performances Chair Anatoliy Kovalenko) and choreography band “Inspiration” of Foreign Languages Department (art director – lecturer at Choreography and Fine Arts Chair Anastasia Kryvorotenko). Recently, these groups together with a head of USPU trade union committee participated in gala concert dedicated to International Women’s Day and organized by Cherkassy Regional Federation of Trade Union Committees.
During the concert program attestation board of Cherkassy Regional Federation of Trade Union Committees was defining the creative groups’ readiness level and their skills that correspond to ranks either “model” or “national”.
Performances of USPU creative groups were highly evaluated by honorary jury members and won the rank “national”. They also defended a rank “National amateur group of Ukrainian trade union committees”!
Duet of guitar players “Mystery” consisting of Viktiria Tsymbal and Anatoliy Kovalenko began its career in 2010 with the aim of classical music among the youth propaganda. The ensemble performs very often at general educational schools and schools of aesthetic education. To increase its professional level, the members of the duet participate very often in regional and all-Ukrainian competitions.
The group is very often invited to take part in the concert activity of higher educational establishments, scientific and practical conferences, festivals, the city concerts. Among the repertoire of the duet is music of different styles and directions, old and contemporary composers.
Audience of the city Cherkassy was captivated by professional execution of the following romantic compositions: “Final” by Máximo Diego Pujol; “Milonga” by Jorge Cardoso, accompanied by choreography composition of lecturer at Choreography and Fine Arts Chair Iryna Groshovyk and 4th year student in specialty “Choreography” Oleksandr Pischaniy; “Shape of my heart” by Sting.
The choreography studio of dances at Foreign Languages Department was created in 2005 on the initiative of the department administration with the aim of choreography arts popularization among the student’s youth. The studio was headed by Maryna Galagan, Sergiy Kutsenko. Since 2009 the studio has been administered by Anastasia Kryvorotenko. Since 2015 the studio has been given the name: choreography band “Inspiration” of Foreign Languages Department at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.
The collectives are mainly composed of students from Foreign Languages Department at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. The repertoire includes dances of nationalities all over the world, author works in different genres (national choreography, stylization of national dances, contemporary choreography).
The audience was amazed by “Irish” and “Cowboy” dance.
The university expresses its gratitude to heads of creative groups “Mystery” and “Inspiration” for their creative work, dedication for arts, and our possibility to admire arts and culture.
The directors and members of the groups express their gratitude to candidate of agricultural sciences, assistant professor, head of the university trade union committee Oleksandr Osadchiy for financial support!
The words of gratitude were also sent to Cherkassy Regional Federation of Trade Union Committees, headed by Petro Shevchenko for the invitation to take part in the event.
In his turn, Petro Vasyliovych in his letter, addressed to USPU rector, professor Oleksandr Besludniy expressed his appreciation to USPU and denoted professionalism, skills, thanked for their participation in the concert and wished success in further activities.
