On the 12th-14th of November in National Centre of Business and Cultural Cooperation “Ukrainian House” was held 28th International Exhibition “Education and Career – 2015 Student’s Day”, in which participated Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. The exhibition was organized by Ukrainian Society “Znannya” under support of Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine (NAPS). It has become the biggest event in Ukraine and abroad dedicated to higher education.
In the opening of the exhibition took part guests – ambassadors of the following countries in Ukraine: Czech Republic, France, Poland, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tadzhikistan, Sudan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Israel, and also Deputy Head of Minister of Education and Science, Andriy Gevko, president of NAPS Vasyl Kremen.
In the exhibition participated over 160 HEI of Ukraine, leading European universities. At the exhibition one could get acquainted with presentations of youth programs and students exchange programs. The event’s visitor had an opportunity to get to know about experience of collaboration with European countries in educational sphere, take part in seminars, round tables dedicated to education development perspectives, international collaboration and introduction of innovation technologies into education.
Pavlo Tychyna USPU representatives informed about the university, gave individual consultations.
Head of the delegation was pro-rector in scientific work and international collaboration Vladylena Sokyrska. She and coordinator of international activities of the university Olga Shukevych shared USPU’s experience in educational collaboration with European countries, student exchange programs, foreign languages courses at the university.
On the first day of festival was organized a gala concert of I International competition in arts of foreign students in Ukraine “Arts without boundaries, dedicated to International Students Day.
The Jury consisted of representatives of Innovation Technologies and Education Content Institute at Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, NAPS, Ukrainian Society “Znannya” who assessed HEIs in different competitions.
Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University participated in rating contest “Leader of Higher Education” and in nomination “Career Guidance for the Youth” USPU has won grand prize. The work was prepared by rector’s assistant, candidate of pedagogical sciences Svitlana Tsymbal-Slatvinska.
