At Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University was held II stage of All-Ukrainian Students’ Olympiad in the Discipline “Politology”, in which participated 43 students from 32 HEI of Ukraine.

At the plenary meeting their speeches made a candidate of historical sciences, professor, pro-rector in scientific work and international collaboration of USPU, deputy head of organization committee Vladylena Sokyrska; head of jury, doctor of political sciences, professor, head of Sociology Chair at Oles Honchar Dnipropetrovsk National University Vitaliy Kryvoshein; members of the jury – doctor of philosophical sciences, professor, main research worker at National Institute of Strategic Investigations Mykhailo Stepyko, doctor of sociological sciences, professor, head of social department at Institute of Sociology (NAPS of Ukraine) Serhiy Makeev; secretary of the Olympiad, lecturer at Social Sciences Chair at USPU Tetyana Rodik; head of Student Council at History Department Yulia Pokholiuk.

The Olympiad’s participants successfully passed I and II stages of theoretical and research rounds, showed their good knowledge and skills. The future politologists demonstrated creative approach and high level of their politic and civic culture, knowledge on history and theory of political science, skills to analyze political phenomena and processes.

The atmosphere was strained, but friendly. Our competitors were amazed by presents, made by creative collectives of our university – they made a nice concert.

On the 15th of April the results of the competition were announced.

Diploma of I grade received Oksana Lahoda (National University “Lviv Polytechnic Institution”).

Diplomas of II grade were delivered to the following participants: Olha Makarenko (Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University), Andriy Matsiovka (Hryhoriy Skovoroda Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskiy State Pedagogical University), Hanna Liubchak (Ivan Franko Zhytomyr State University).

Diplomas of III grade were handed in to Karyna Lysenko (Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy), Iryna Voloshchak (Ivan Franko Drohobych State Pedagogical University), Viktoria Savonchak (Ternopil National Economic University).

The Olympiad’s participants were awarded by special diplomas from organization committee for their original thinking and problem solving.
