The journalists say it can compete for the title of the best. The prospective students are met and showed around by the current students, two secretaries help each applicant to fill in the documents. While one secretary accepts the paper documents, helps and advises, the second one enters the data into the electronic database. So it takes about 10-15 minutes only to submit the documents for one specialty.

The work stations of the secretaries are equipped with webcams that attach the instant pictures of the applicants to the personal file of each applicant and then to the Unified national electronic education database. In a separate room there are the experts who summarize the electronic information and, if necessary, provide legal advice to applicants on paperwork, including the benefits.

Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University meets the applicants from 23 Oblasts of Ukraine. Before starting the University admissions campaign the representatives met with the students and talked about the school. The University also cooperates with the employment center and participates in "career fairs".

Each applicant receives a mobile booklet so that the applicants should know the way around the University grounds. The booklets are created for all the specialties.

Most prospective students choose the travel industry, management, hotel management, social work, applied psychology, and physical education. A significant number of future students are willing to receive education in economics though on a part-time basis.

Among the popular specialties one can name natural sciences, especially the "combined" specialties, like Biology and Practical Psychology, Chemistry and Computer Sciences.

For the applicants who are failing to be enrolled because their scores are less than 140 points (on core subjects) the University suggests studying at the Preparatory Department. At the same time, one can acquire related professions, like a social worker, a tourist agent, a secretary of a manager of organization, company or institution.

For the Deregas family filing the documents is a dual responsibility. This year both the daughter as well as the mother applies for admission to the University. The mother had been working as a primary school teacher for over ten years. They say they have heard the reviews about this University and now they want to make sure that everyone is paid attention to, and explained everything in much detail.

Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University has taken care of the smallest applicants too. There is a children’s room for the children of the employees of the University and for younger guests that support the applicant for admission. Classes are conducted by the qualified teachers.

Natalia Pobirchenko, the Rector of the University has spoken to the applicants: "Let all your dreams come true and let you choose the desired field of study. The key to choosing a profession is listening to your heart. Only this way you can make the right choice! "
