An youth historic quest dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the oldest written mention of Uman was an interesting chapter in the celebration of the City Day. He was held with the assistance of Uman city council. In an interesting, lively form the students were studying Uman, its landmarks and historic sites.

10 teams from Uman schools, Uman State Pedagogical University, Uman National University of Horticulture, Agricultural College of UNUH, Medical College of Uman, Uman Humanitarian Pedagogical College, Uman branch of KIBAT participated in the quest.

Our university was represented by the students of History Department, Foreign Languages Department, Ukrainian Philology Department and Social and Psychological Education Department.

The essence of the quest consisted in passing all defined points as quiсkly as possible. At each of the points the contestants had been waited by volunteer who voiced further thematic questions. Giving the correct answer to each of them, the students got a part of the picture. The winner was a team that came first to the last point with all elements of a photograph on historic monuments of Uman. History Department team was winner (it was represented by Andriy Gonchar, Myroslava Peresun'ko, Myroslava Stetsko, Maksym Stanhrit and Liana Tsilitsinska)

The students of Ukrainian Philology Department took the second place, the fourth place - Social and Psychological Education Department.

All participants in intellectual game received certificates and prizes personally from the City Mayor Oleksandr Tsebriy. And the winners received certificates for free trip in a balloon.
