Recently, in Cherkassy was held training for ecology activists under support of Heinrich Böll Fund in Ukraine. The participators in our university were chosen on the basis of questionnaire. It was passed by PhD student Olena Zadorozhna (supervisor S. Sovhira) and 4th year student Maryna Shykor (supervisor O. Sytnyk) from Nature and Geography Department.

Program of the training was designed to help people who are willing to be force of change, realize ecology initiations and activate the adherents to protect environment and prevent climate changes.

It was interesting for activists of ecology movement to get to know about the main directions of training: general information on climate change, its influence and prevention, aspects of energy effectiveness, team interaction, acquired skills and resources, long-term activity planning, communications and work with mass media.
