USPU is actively involved in charity helping the people to solve acute social problems which individuals and the government can not solve on their own. Charity is a sincere and noble matter aimed at improving the human lives. Everyone can participate in it; it's simple and easy. Lots of faculty, staff, and students of USPU are involved in the charitable actions in order to save or improve the lives of others.

The University team has joined the charity events in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The administration of the institution frequently informs the faculty and staff about the need to support the armed forces of Ukraine, the charitable actions, provides account information to transfer funds. Teaching staff, students and university staff are involved in the "Support the army, protect Ukraine" action (sending SMS messages), and they have initiated the collection of charitable funds for the "Peacemaker" battalion for peacekeeping missions in the Eastern Ukraine. The university authorities support 44 students who defend our country, and our students have initiated and participated in many art events to support the morale of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The trade union committee transferred the funds to the Cherkassy Oblast Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science for a charity event in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Charity is one of the priorities of the Student Council. The graves of WW2 participants are regularly taken care of (the History Department of the University is responsible for that), there is a flat round in order to identify those who are in difficult circumstances, require a different type of assistance. The USPU student council congratulates the veterans of war and combatants. Tetiana Povichan, the Dean of Physics and Mathematics Department, has asked the representatives of all departments for help for the needy ones. The 8-year-old boy needed help for his cerebral palsy treatment; he needed to undergo the 6-stage of treatment in the International Clinic of Rehabilitation in Truskavets. Students expressed their sympathy, collected the funds in the amount of UAH 2844 and passed them on to his mother.

On the eve of Victory Day, the students and teachers of Nature and Geography Department and Ukrainian Philology Department were greeting the students of the National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky who joined the defense of the state border of Ukraine.
