Henceforth, on the 21st of November (the day of Dignity revolution beginning) a new holiday will be celebrated. On this day one year ago Euromaidan adherents came together for the first time which testified to the Ukrainians freedom-loving, their striving for freedom and democratic values. President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko issued a decree on the new holiday celebrating. “Ukraine is a territory of dignity and liberty. We became such people owing to 2 revolutions: 2004 Maidan which was a Feast of Liberty and revolution of 2013, Revolution of Dignity. It was a very hard test for the Ukrainians; they demonstrated their European spirit, dignity, striving for liberty”.

A man or woman, his/her life, honour and dignity, inviolability and safety are defined in Ukraine as the greatest social values. Stop being slaves and being afraid, be honest instead! Owing to these concepts, we can see in each individual Personality. Even enemies appreciate it. Owing to these categories, a person remains free under different conditions and situations.

Nowadays, dignity more and more is developed in Ukrainian society. More and more people aren’t afraid to declare: “I won’t allow demean myself! I don’t want it! It doesn’t suit me! I am worthy and I deserve only the best!” True European values will appear in our country when people will be respected and there will be dignity.

Let’s be worthy, free and frank people! Be proud of our country! Peace well-being and happiness to everybody! We should be proud that we are the Ukrainians!
