During the first weeks in March at History Department was carried out a few urgent events, initiated by university administration, curators of academic groups, students. At each academic group were conducted educative lessons under the title “The Youth is for Peace”. All the students actively participated in discussions of problem of PEACE. Everybody had an opportunity to say about his position for attainment of peace and its preservation in Ukraine, and the world.

13 group students (curator Olga Barvinok) demonstrated their civic and patriotic position by appearing in embroided blouses and preparing the wall newspaper.

31 group students (curator Zinaida Sviaschenko) conducted educative lesson under the title “The Youth is for Peace”. The aim of the event was to get united for the sake of peace and to say together “No War”, remember “Heaven Hundred”, soldiers-patriots, who died for independence of our country, support Ukrainian servicemen by taking part in city volunteer organizations’ work.

All the present expressed their civic position, their own attitude to the situation in the country; share their opinion, “We are Ukraine’s young generation. The most important for us is our beautiful country! Ukrainian people were never tempted by the foreign land. People always were striving for peace, prosperity and fraternity. And in nowadays difficult situation we, the youth, say “No War! We are for a united Ukraine! Let be Peace!”. “We should preserve Ukraine as an independent, unitary and blossoming country!”

12 group students (curator Igor Opatskyi) at the educative lesson got to know about the principles, directions and tasks of activity of International Movement “The Youth is for Peace”. Students discussed the possibility of the organization’s methods of activity borrowing.

The educative lesson “The Youth is for Peace” was held with students of group 32 (curator Olga Skus), at which urgent problem of volunteer help for soldiers in ATO were discussed.

It is worth mentioning that History Department Studentstry to help soldiers. Recently, together with Uman Centre of Soldiers Assistance they’ve sent a volunteer aid for History Department student Vladyslav Pysmennyi, who is currently at ATO zone. Besides, Myroslava Stetsko, a student of group 34 together with the other students of History Department helped to pack in the humanitarian aid for soldiers in ATO.
