Recently, an exhibition of student works dedicated to the Day of Student was taking place in "Stara Uman' historical and cultural reserve. It was the first of events starting a variety of holiday actions taking place in USPU during the week. Most of works exhibited belong to the students of our University. Just as before, Stara Uman' historical and cultural reserve invested in the preparation of citywide events. The initiator of the event was Department of Family and Youth of Uman City Council.

Members and guests of the notable event in the life of creative young people were greeted by Valentyna Novak, the City Council Secretary, Dmytro Baldynyuk, the Vice-Rector for educational work at USPU, Marina Yakovenko, the Head of the Department of Family and Youth of the Uman City Council.

The fans of art were happy to see many interesting and diverse works. Visitors of different ages and preferences can find something interesting at the show. Presented pictures and photos are full of incredibly positive energy. The canvases which depict beautiful Ukrainian landscapes are prevailing. But portraits and still lifes also play a great role in the exhibition. All of the works of the artists radiate their sincere confession of love for their native land. This love is so lively, sincere, romantic; nostalgic that touches the soul and awakens one's own thoughts and memories of childhood and the native land.

- It is the picturesque nature of his native land and sincere, open children's faces that inspires me, - says Lyudmyla Dron, the photographer of Public Relations Department, a graduate of Arts and Pedagogics Department at USPU.

The first year student Olena Ocheretyana supported her and also depicted her native village on paper. Patriotism and love for their motherland - these feelings inspired not only the artists, but also the visitors of the gallery. We wish the young artists new creative ups, and we are looking forward to seeing the new masterpieces.

The initiators of the exhibition have prepared a pleasant surprise - gifts for students and artists whose exhibited works were the debut of "Stara Uman ."
