Nowadays the development of state and contemporary business
is not possible without effective management.
HR-manager who is a specialist in personnel selection meets us at interview,
his purpose is an effective team formation.

It became a tradition among all experts in personnel management to celebrate each third Wednesday in September the holiday of HR manager. The team of USPU Marketing and Business Management Chair at Department of Economics joined this tradition and there were organized some actions dedicated to HR manager’s week, as far as experts in “Personnel management and jobs economy” are trained at the above mentioned chair.

On the 15th of September was held scientific and methodological seminar entitled “HR-manager is the profession of future” for first-third year students. As a classic of modern manager wrote, “The world will always be in need of experienced and trained managers who can lead the society from where it is to where it wants to be”. The discussion during the seminar was centred around the problems, like “Who is HR manager?”, “Is HR manager a position or a profession?”, “Is Administer and Manager the same notion?”

We should admit to a big activity of students during HR manager’s week who helped to fill in the lectures room with visual aids and led the wall newspapers and photo competition under the titles “HR-manager from the point of view of students” and “We are managers”. It was performed on the initiative and support of students.

Student’s dean Lyubov Petruhina tells us about her opinion and impressions: “It is not the first time that we celebrate HR manager week at our department, but each year actions become more interesting and full of impressions”. Responsibility, oganization, creative thinking, team approach and leadership qualities are formed in students who are joined to such actions. Among second- and third-year students was chosen the jury, which consisted of Dasha Oliynyck, Alina Mylka, and Maryna Haruck.

Nataliya Andrietti, practical psychologist of the University by whom was organized and held psycologists training “Leadership”, testifies to the activity of students. The leader of the training has become first-year student Nataliya Kalinchuck who was rewarded by diploma and cup “A star”.

It was uneasy to define the photo competition “We are managers” winners, because all the works were creative and amazing, worth of win. But superiority was with 37 k academic group. The winners were rewarded by diplomas and cup “Nika-photo”.

On the third and the forth day of HR manager week celebrating was held brain-ring “Wit managers” and excursion to recruit agency in Uman.

Our attention drew erudites “Managers”, “HR”, “Dictators” from first-third year students, owing to them the brain-ring was interesting and participators had a lot of positive emotions and impressions. The first place took the team “Dictators”, who were rewarded by diplomas and cup “Lamp of Knowledge”. The other participators got diplomas too.

The festive actions of HR manager week were concluded by freshmen inauguration in speciality “Personnel Management and jobs economy”, which was open by a director of the marketing and business management chair Olga Chyrva. Together with Lyubov Petruhina they led the inauguration, congratulated students and wished success in studying.

Hence, HR manager week 2014 was very dynamical. We hope that holding such actions will promote students to find according to their speciality a good job and build career.
