THE UNIVERSITY WON THE GRAND PRIX AT THE "EDUCATION AND CAREER

The "Education and Career - 2013" XXIII International Exhibition and the "Education Abroad" XII International Exhibition of foreign educational establishments were taking place on April the 11th at the "Ukrainian House" National Center for Business and Cultural Cooperation. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the "Knowledge" Society of Ukraine and Kyiv Youth Labor Centre.

The exhibition that lasted for three days was presented by 65 Ukrainian and 71 foreign higher education establishments from Poland, Russia, Czech Republic, Canada, the French Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Federal Republic of Germany, Switzerland, Israel, Italian Republic, the United Kingdom, the United States and others.

The solemn opening ceremony was attended by Oleksiy Dniprov, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Viktor Korzh, the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration , Vasyl Kremin’, the President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Jacek Glinski, the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Poland, Henryk Litvin, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Ukraine, Dagmar Ostranska, the Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine, Director of the Czech Center in Kiev, heads of universities from all over Ukraine, as well as educators, students, and media representatives.

The solemn awarding of the winners of "Education and Career - 2013" XXIII International Exhibition contest began after the greeting of the honorable guests.

The University was awarded the Grand Prix in the category of "International cooperation in education and science” for perennial fruitful international cooperation with foreign scientific and educational institutions. Natalia Pobirchenko, the Rector of the University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, corresponding member of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine received the award.
