Sergey Hulyayko, Mykola Chaploutskyy and Natalia Melnyk, the students of Physical Training Department at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, participated in the rowing and canoeing championship held in late August in the city of Poltava. In the championship on the Vorskla River the teams of all regions competed in rowing (200, 500 and 1000 meters).

As a result of competition, Sergey Hulyayko won the third place (C-4,500m) and took two V places (C-2,1000m), (C-2, 200m). Mykola Chaploutskyy won the third place in the championship (P-4,200m) and Natalia Melnyk won the VII place (K-1,1000m) and the VIII place (K-1,500m).
