From the 6 to 17 of July the XXVII World Summer Universiade of 2013 took place in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Federation.

Among numerous Ukrainian athletes competing for medals for our country there was Vasyl Shyptar, the University graduate who had won the third prize in freestyle wrestling (in the weight category up to 60 kg) on July 12th.

After returning to Ukraine Vasyl talked to the University administration.

Natalia Pobirchenko, the Rector greeted the winner of the World Summer Universiade, expressed her gratitude for the worthy presentation of our country and the University in sports.
