Tourism is associated with beautiful landscapes, endless starry sky, songs performed to guitar, hot tea on a cold evening and quiet flame of fire. It's a lot of positive impressions, interesting discoveries and adventures!

The tourist trips of USPU students initiated by Department of Geography and methods of teaching which is headed by Oksana Braslavska, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, have become traditional and so loved by the students. This year's meeting was held at the Agrobiostation. 4 teams of the Nature and Geography and Economic Department were participating in the competitions organized and facilitated by Iryna Kravtsova, the Associate Professor of the Chair of Geography and Methods of Teaching. These competitions are held to promote mass tourism and country study, education and public awareness of the national values and healthy lifestyles, improving the touristic skills of participants, strengthening of friendly relations in the team.

Various tasks performed during the touristic activity warmed up the interest of the students. The students tried to cheer their teams and expressed a variety of emotions. It was so much fun. Everyone was looking forward to the porridge cooking competition. Guests tasted the culinary "masterpieces" of each team to choose the most delicious porridge.

It was difficult to determine the winners, and places were distributed as follows: The first place was won by "Erudite" team of the Nature and Geography Department, group 33; the second place was won by “Sirius” team of Nature and Geography Department, group 43; the third place was won in the fierce battle by "Meridian" team of Economics Department; the fourth place was given to "Tornado" team of Nature and Geography Department, group 32.

At the end of the holiday, USPU Rector Natalia Pobirchenko and Professor Oksana Braslavska warded the teams with diplomas and precious gifts. Tired and happy as they were, the students left for home. Tourism is great!
