The business-planning seminar was held recently at the Business Center of the Institute of Economics and Business Education of USPU. The participants were the heads of village community, representatives of local business and public, owners of agro-homesteads, masters of folk crafts, interested inhabitants of Uman and Uman district villages. The organizers of the training were Uman Region Council together with Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University.

Professor Olga Chirva, Director of the Economics and Business Education Institute, emphasized the need for such training for entrepreneurs. The main part of the seminar consisted of consideration of the general rules for drawing up a business plan presented by the head of the department of marketing, management and business management, associate professor Svitlana Podzigun. The second part was conducted in the form of a business game, where the participants worked on Swot-analysis of their own business. All this is important for the development of rural green tourism, stimulates small business, heals the economy of rural areas and has significant prospects for the development of both domestic and international tourism.
