On March 29, a joint meeting of Collegium of Education and Science Department of Cherkasy Regional State Administration and plenum of Cherkasy Regional Committee of Trade Union of Ukrainian Education and Science Workers – “Fulfillment of Branch Agreement Between General Board of Education and Science of Cherkasy Regional Committee of Trade Union of Ukrainian Education and Science Workers for 2011 – 2012” took place in Cherkasy.

The University rector, professor Natalya Pobirchenko as a member of Presidium of the Regional Committee of Trade Union of Education Workers of Cherkasy Region was invited to the meeting and participated in the discussion.

Rector informed about the University work on workers’ rights and interests protection, creation comfortable and safe conditions for studying, work and recreation, and development of social infrastructure.

Natalya Pobirchenko emphasized that all clauses concerning social guarantees, privileges and compensations provided by the Branch Agreement, were taken into consideration in collective agreement between the University administration and staff.

The University administration in close cooperation with Trade Union Committee have implemented the idea of social partnership, and directed their efforts to the tasks’ solution, designated in social initiatives of the President of Ukraine.
