On the 17th of December Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University opened its doors to those who wanted to get to know about the educational establishment, higher education and 2015 entrance company peculiarities.

At about 700 university entrants from 7 regions of Ukraine – Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kirovograd, Kyiv, Odessa, Mykolaiv, Donetsk – visited the Open Doors Day, which became a good tradition.

The future university entrants listened to speeches of deans and heads of the departments, who told about specialties, material and technical basis of the university, educational process peculiarities, possibilities of military training and abroad training.

School and vocational school leavers found very important the meeting with the member of registration centre for internal independent assessment (Kyiv regional education quality assessment centre) Svitlana Tsymbal-Slatvinska. Svitlana Volodymyrivna told in details about the peculiarities of 2015 entrance company, in particular, about HEI priorities scale, complexity levels of INA, Angoff method, coefficient charge for competitive subjects, grade weighting for atestat, pre-university training, etc. The selection committee secretary underlined the nessecity of the future entrants’ right decision today, before the registration for internal independent assessment. The entrants had individual professional orientation consultations.

The university excursiions, trainings and master classes “My future profession” gave the future university entrants confidence in the right choice of the educational establishment, which is the path to success.
