The Sociology and Psychology Department at USPU held "Modern problems of humanisation of future educators" nationwide scientific and methodical seminar initiated by the teachers of the Chair of General Education, Pedagogics of Higher Educational Establishments and Management. Oksana Kravchenko, the Dean, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Social Pedagogy, Social Work and History of Pedagogy greeted the participants and stressed that the objective of the policy of the humanitarian development of the country should be modernization of society by universal, democratic and humanistic values. The workshop was coordinated by Valentyna Boychenko, the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of Pedagogics of Higher Educational Establishments and Management.

The nationwide seminar was also dedicated to the essence and technology of training the teachers. Special attention was paid to the formation of professional thinking of a teacher, professional pedagogical ethics, general cultural paradigm and psychological aspects of training the future teachers.

The workshop brought together the leading researchers, graduates from Kyiv National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, Kharkiv Humanitarian Pedagogical Academy, Tarashchansky Agro-technical College, T.G. Shevchenko Uman Humanitarian Pedagogical College.
